PMI Health Group director Rachael Floyd has been presented with the Assurance Medical and Underwriting Society’s (AMUS) Towers Award at the Health Claims Forum.
The employee health risk specialist’s operations director was given the award for scoring the highest mark in the autumn sitting of the Chartered Insurance Institute’s (CII) Life, Critical Illness and Disability Claims paper.
“PMI Health Group recognises the value which both insurance knowledge and clinical expertise brings to our clients,” said Rachael. “Ongoing training and development for all members of our team is critical. We are able to offer clients a unique approach to the management of Group Risk policies, with employees supported and advised throughout their illness, absence and claim by fully qualified nurses.”
As part of PMI Health Group’s investment in its growing Group Risk service, a further nine team members are also undertaking the GR1 certification, including registered nurses and both client service and broking specialists.
Rachael added: “Our ongoing time, resource and training investments signal our unwavering commitment to continual improvement and excellence in our Group Risk service provision.”
